Free Healthy Bones & Balance Class

Boomers and Seniors are welcome to participate in strength & balance classes. Great for weight loss too! The Wednesday class is lead by Occupational Therapist, Marianne Vinal, and is especially geared to older residents, and those with more limited mobility or health issues.

Hand weights provided. All exercises are done sitting or standing. Class is on a drop in. Wear comfortable clothes. No previous weight training experience required. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early.

The Saturday 8:30am Health Bones & Balance Class is on summer break and will resume again in September. Lead by Rosie Heidkamp, this class is more vigourous than the Wednesday class and is geared towards active adults who are looking to maintain or improve their balance and strength.
