Homeschool Hangout is a special once a month opportunity for local area homeschoolers to make advantageous use of library space to build community and further their educational goals.

Fire Safety Evening

Wednesday Nov. 15. 6:30-8:00pm

Wendell Firefighters Asa and Matt will cover the following topics:

Fire Safety in the home (Fire and carbon monoxide alarms, Escape plans, Cooking safety, Heating safety, Electrical and smoking safety)

Fire Safety outside (Camp fires, barbeques, Brush burning, regulations and safety, Wildfire risk and defensible space, SAFE Program (Fire and life safety at school, Smoke/CO alarm installation program, Street numbers program) Medical emergency – what to do, and hands only CPR.

AFTER SCHOOL STEM- Homopolar Motor Sculptures

November 29 at 2p.m.

Make sure to register your kids for this fun opportunity to learn about homopolar motors and make a swirling sculpture out of copper wire.
