Tax Collector

The Tax Collector's primary responsibility involves overseeing the collection of diverse taxes that contribute to funding essential Wendell services such as schools, public safety, and infrastructure maintenance. She facilitates the prompt and accurate payment of taxes while being a reliable source of information and assistance for tax-related inquiries and concerns.

Voters of Wendell unanimously approved the following increases in tax taking fees pursuant to MGL Ch. 60 §15 at the Special Town Meeting held on October 15, 2025:

Real Estate and Motor Vehicle Demand fees: $25.00 (increased from $10.00)
Municipal Lien Certificate (MCL): $50.00 (increased from $25.00)

Working in close coordination with local departments and authorities, the Tax Collector maintains precise tax records and processes payments, ensuring a seamless flow of financial resources for the Town's various needs.
