The Umass Amherst Fernald Club will be bringing a variety of live insects, spiders, and other invertebrates; all or nearly all will be available for handling by attendees. Club members will be on hand to facilitate handlings, and to educate attendees about the creatures and answer any questions. They will also be bringing a selection of impressive preserved insect specimens for display, and we’ll be available to discuss them with attendees as well. The club will be selling club T-shirts featuring insect artwork by some of our members, to help raise money for their free educational programs.
