Station Eleven is a work of fiction by Emily St. John Mandel which tells a story of a traveling orchestra and theater group twenty years after a pandemic decimates the globe. A story of arts among struggle, we comes away with the thought that "Survival is insufficent".
On Saturday, May 22 at 10 AM, the Wendell Free Library will host a discussion using a "Walk and Talk" format. We will meet at the Wendell State Forest Dirth Road entrance and walk in distanced pairs to discuss the book, switching partners throughout our walk. Pick up a copy of Station Eleven at the Wendell Free Library and then join us for some fresh air, exercise, and conversation. Masks required.
