Dear Wendell Friends and Neighbors,
Due to concern over the possible spread of the current COVID-19 virus, the Wendell Board of Health and the Wendell Selectboard have made the decision to close the Town Hall building to events until further notice, effective immediately. This includes the Full Moon Coffee House that was scheduled for this Saturday. We regret any inconvenience this causes, but it is the correct action to take under the circumstances.
However, we intend to keep the Good Neighbors program going on Sundays for as long as possible. We are implementing additional health and safety precautions, such as moving it outside when the weather allows. People will be asked to clean their hands upon checking in, and we urge you to avoid close physical contact with others: no shaking hands, fist bumps, hugs, etc. If you or someone in your family is not feeling well, try to find someone to take your place. Also, we want to reduce the population density by increasing the distance between people, so the process may take a little longer. This is a new experience for all of us, and we are confident that we can do this in a patient and considerate manner. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
As always, if you have questions or concerns, our contact information is given below.
