I attended a webinar on Conflict Management sponsored by the Massachusetts Municipal Association.
My main takeaways were:
- Make discussions about handling conflict an active and ongoing conversation in the Town
- We can not reach people with logic when they are angry - it's better to ask for a break from the conversation and resume the discussion when there is less emotion.
