The main functions of the Wendell Website Committee

  • Provide the functions of a webmaster, that is to insure that the Wendell website is functioning smoothly.
  • Provide the first level of "in house" technical support.
  • Provide help and assistance to town departments, boards, committees, and commissions with issues related to publishing content on the website.
  • Provide helpful resources for website publishers.

The committee members will be available on an as needed basis to town government officials. Many of the committee members have administrator privileges and can provide assistance with "back-end" website tasks, such as creating or editing modules, adding or configuring plugins, elevating user privileges, creating new sections, categories, menus or menu items (pages).

The Wendell Website Committee will meet at the Wendell Free Library on Thursday August 11, 2011 at 7:30pm. The Agenda for this meeting is as follows:

  1. Scheduling training sessions.
  2. Reviewing Google Analytics to see if there is anything we can improve about the navigation.
